From 5.30pm to 7pm on Tuesday 30 September, we are hosting a focus group discussion on the upcoming Local Government Reorganisation across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The discussion will explore the possibility of a new unitary council for Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. It will provide an opportunity for you to share your views on how you feel local government structures could best serve our communities, economy, and public services. Your insights will help shape a proposal that is robust, locally informed, and responsive to the needs of all our residents.
The event is being organised jointly by Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire District councils, and will be hosted by Cllr Cameron Holloway, Leader of Cambridge City Council, and Cllr Bridget Smith, Leader of South Cambridgeshire District Council.
Residents from both Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire are invited to attend.
