Inspiring play

I've made a lot of comments about individual parks but wanted to express a general concept around playgrounds.

A lot of playgrounds within Cambridge are not well designed and not made to be inspirational places.

If you look at playgrounds in Scandinavia, some public playgrounds in London, playgrounds within private attractions, these playgrounds cost similar amounts to large playgrounds within Cambridge but they're designed by professional playground designers who put together concepts that tie the equipment together, rather than just equipment chosen from a catalogue.
