Keep our public walkways open and free from harm. We have cows grazing on PROW,

Boxworth PROW Public Footpaths have cows grazing on them without segregation barriers. This I find a public health risk. The HSE declared 32 deaths involving cattle last year, those particularly at risk are dog walkers.
I was recently obstructed from using my PROW due to the risks thus situation presented. No signs or segregation barriers were present at the time. Cows with horns all sizes congregating near access gates. Not safe!
Boxworth has a very small triangular piece of land as common, it is important to keep our PROW open and safe for all to use, for health and wellbeing reasons. I am health safety aware and have asked the Vice Chair at the Parish Meeting to add this to our next agenda’s, however, I feel something needs to be done actioned before whilst we have children on holiday and walkers using our footpaths to eliminate any risk hazards. This could be implementing signage and installing electric fences to separate people from potential harm.
The area of concern is the meadow behind School Lane leading through the meadow to high street. This is a particular nice area to walk away from road noise. Please help us make it safe and usable.
I believe the cost will be down to private owners and safety implications will be executed by HSE. So I predict the cost to tax payers to be very little.
helping people navigate safely in communities on PROW
