Light cycling on Union Lane junction

The timings for this junction are terribly planned, leaving huge queues backing up to the roundabout on an evening. Additionally, when cycling from Union Lane at night, the lights don't always register that you are there, so never change in that direction unless a car turns up.

Agree with Joe - this junction needs a rethink. At the moment it is too cramped which encourages cyclists to zip through and ignore the lights. There is an accident waiting to happen here.
