A new wooden information board by the access ramp from the cycle bridge for the Friends Group and Council Officers to use is due to be installed by the City Council this month. However, support EIP funding for another board to be situated at Logan's Way entrance.

Supportive of this as better information about the site will let people know about the benefits of the meadow, the nature in it, and also remind us all that it is a true extension to the existing nature reserve. It's a well trafficked route as well so will really raise awareness of the nature under their feet as people walk over the bridge.

as a member of the Friends of Logan's meadow I know we are very keen to both improve the current noticeboard and perhaps add another at the Logan's Way woods entrance. Ideally both would be made so they can be opened and notices about forthcoming wildlife and volunteering events can be put in. Likewise we can also put up information about recent sightings and local events. Although we have an email newsletter and use social media, we know that we don't reach a lot of users of Logan's Way by these channels. A good noticeboard is simple and very effective. The current one is quite dilapidated.
