Arbury Road needs a zebra crossing near Havenfield

Rosalind Lund•1 year ago I frequently see elderly people trying to cross Arbury Rd near the vets and Havenfield sheltered accommodation. If they want to cross to Leys Road and walk through Mulberry Close to get to the Milton Road shops they will try to cross near Havenfield. A zebra crossing would also help to reduce traffic speed.

Closure of Union Lane

Rosalind Lund•1 year ago Why is this part of Chesterton not included? The cycle route along Arbury Road should continue along Union Lane which is now used as a rat run to avoid the Elizabeth Way roundabout. It would be much safer for cyclists if Union Lane was closed to motor traffic at the Milton Road end.

Better cycling provision on east end of Arbury Road

Rosalind Lund•1 year ago Traffic is often faster than 20 mph and Road is certainly busier than western end. Cyclists use pavement because they feel unsafe on road. Traffic calming needed.
