Hilary Pounsett3 years ago ‘The grassroots community groups involved with the bridge renaming project (Circles of Change, MNQ & Cambridge African Network) would like to partner with local residents of Riverside & request some containers are situated at the footings of Equiano Bridge, where there is a paved area. We would like to plant pollinator favourites and spring bulbs to compliment Logans Meadow, across the river, as well as attempt to reflect something of Equiano in the planting. A year round from the renaming of the bridge, we would like to continue to enhance the beauty and significance of the area for our communities. We will organise maintenance of the plantings within our groups’. 😊
