Creating meeting spaces at Cherry Hinton recreation ground

We are seeking your views on a proposal to install three picnic benches in Cherry Hinton recreation ground.

The proposed location for these benches is in close proximity to the play area and skateboard area, providing a convenient spot for families and visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

These installations are proposed with the intention of:

• improving the local environment by enabling a place to stop
• creating resting and meeting places in the local community

Picnic bench locations

There are four possible location options for the new picnic benches.

• Three locations in close proximity to the play area (2, 3 and 4 on the map below)
• One at the back of play area to the rear of the skatepark (1 on the map below)
