Improving biodiversity in a Coleridge pocket park

Open for comments from Friday 1 to Monday 25 March 2024.

Cambridge City Council have funding available through the Environmental Improvement Programme (EIP) for the purpose of improving biodiversity to a green space in Coleridge.

This green space is at the back of Bailey House (Rustat Avenue), and runs through from the mini-roundabout on Rustat Road at the end of Davy Road to Clifton Road.

The space is one of a number of amenity green spaces we manage around the city. As part of our management of the space to increase biodiversity we are proposing implementing some areas of native wildflower/grasses.

There are also proposals to officially name this space. Please see the draft plan below.

For more information about EIP, please visit Environmental Improvement Programme.
