Putting residents and communities at the heart of the conversation

Open for comments from 14 February to 26 March 2023.

We have launched the Our Cambridge programme which aims to build a better, more efficient and sustainable council for the future.

As part of this we want to think about how we work together with partners, our residents and communities to help everyone in the city live safe, happy and healthy lives.

To make sure we can achieve this, we’re putting residents and communities at the heart of the conversation and asking you to tell us about the things that are really important to you.

This will help to build that picture for the future and help define our future role in ensuring Cambridge continues to be a great place to live and work.

The initial phase of engaging with residents to shape that picture for the future will finish at the end of March 2023.

We will use all of the information to help us understand what’s important to our residents and communities.

Have your say

We want to know your thoughts on the things that will make your daily life safe, happy and healthy.

Thinking about how you live, work, and spend your leisure time in the city, what do you like and dislike about where you live and what you would do to change it.

Your feedback will help build that picture for the future.

We are talking to lots of people in Cambridge and this survey forms part of those conversations. Please take a few minutes to give us your thoughts, your views are very important.

The link to the survey is located under the "About" section.

You will also be entered into a draw to receive a £100 Love Cambridge Gift Card as a ‘thank you’ for taking part.

To find out about other ways that we are talking to residents as part of Our Cambridge programme, please visit the Council's website.

Next steps

We will collate the findings from the survey, focus groups and other conversations with the Community and publish the report on here at the end of May.

The purpose of all the conversations is to help build a shared picture for Cambridge and this will help to define our future role in ensuring Cambridge continues to be a great place to live and work.

Will be talking to our residents and communities on a range of subjects over the coming months and years as part of the Our Cambridge programme.
